I went to break Malaysia book of record~~!

Got up early in the morning feeling so restless.
Rushed to have my lunch with the rest of the CO members
and then went to Kampar Sport Complex for the event
that aimed to break the Malaysia Book of record.

Yes! and we managed to break the record
for the Largest Origami Mosaic
By using Heart-shaped Folded paper to form this logo below.

From this

To this

and while i'm busy folding more hearts...

someone is even busier generating her own poster
to support another campaign

The CO performance for the campaign

Got back home pretty late after breaking the record
and will be greeted with more works and test this week!!

Inconsiderate vs. irresponsible

Inconsiderate vs. irresponsible
which one is more annoying to you?

For me, it is both.
I have this friend who is inconsiderate and at the same time irresponsible.
Well, and i'm here typing this because i've been too kind with this fella
that i needed a channel to release my temper.

I just couldn't stand it anymore!
Although i kept telling myself that there're only a few more months
before i left this place for good and i should tolerate with all these matters
but this is just not the way it should be.

Living under one roof with peoples from different families is never easy.
As we are all brought up differently by different guidance and thus adapted
a unique behavior or habit of our own.
I do understand this
i just couldn't understand

Why can't someone just learn the right way to carry themselves well when
they are living under one roof with others?

Do you think it look nice with your underwear lying on the chair
or clothes lying around the living room?

Do you think it is others responsible to does all the cleaning around the house
while you does nothing better than messing up?

Would you feel embarrass if someone point it to your face that your shit in the toilet bowl is not yet flush?

Anyone should learn to be considerate and know your own responsibility.
Simply trying to defend yourself with excuses is not going to win you anything.
You are only leaving yourself nothing than a bad impression to others.

You have all the time you need.
You are just simply a slacker
who wouldn't admit that you are one of them.

Tea ceremony and farewell gathering.

I received a package deliver from my mum this morning.
Found it lying on the doorstep inside my house after i got back from breakfast.
I never knew the postman of Kampar practiced teleporting!
and i never knew that i've forgotten to lock the main door before going out!

Luckily, this is quite an honest postman or i'll be filling a report at the police station already.

All soon-to-be-graduating students of UTAR
are required to join a tea ceremony with UTAR president today.
I thought of skipping it at first but since they are offering us free flow of drinks and foods
so why not?

The barely ever seen President of UTAR
The president gave us a talk on career, job interviews, etc, and
halfway through the talk i found Spiky, Zheng Yang and also Yee Hing
concentrating very hard on....
Smashing zombie and cockroaches on Michelle's ipad
The founder of later came for a talk as well
but i went back home for a rest after the big feast.
The only thing inside my mind at that very moment was sleep.

I'm looking ahead to the talk by the pen drive creator soon.

Anyway, since it is my last semester here and as a senior of
my orchestra. I was invited to the farewell gathering organized by the juniors yesterday.

They presented me a trophy.
President of the orchestra and me
Haha. This would be the first ever trophy i owned in my entire life at UTAR.

With WeiXing, the beauty of  woodwind group. Haha
Tomorrow, will be the beginning of all replacement class ~~!!! NIGHTMARES!!!
I'm off to bed. Good night.

Class replacement at 10am today but i skipped.
I just hate replacement class.
My excuse: I'm sick.
The truth: Just too lazy to get out of bed.

Endless holidays, endless replacement.

Most probably, all the tests will be crumpled all together in a go
and i'll have enough to suffer through a few weeks before final hit again.

Nothing much for these two days, beside having a big baby
eating in my room and accusing me of not waiting for him before i went for my dinner.

Dr. Tee called out to me in lecture today.
I was not paying attention at all since we were already at the last slide.
Some more, he pronounced my name wrongly as well.

Chu Ching Yee
Ching chong yee

Dint realize he was calling me, not until Michelle jammed on my desk.

Dr.Tee: What is this?
*using his laser encircling the word 'resveratrol' on the slide +
that i-gocha-look on his face
Me: A secondary metabolite found in plant, believe to have anticancer properties.
Dr. Tee: Like what type of plant?
Me: Peanut.
Dr. Tee: Which part of peanut?
Me: The root.

By night, the orchestra have another practice for tomorrow performance.
I was thinking of skipping practice at first because i just don't felt like
attending it. Anyhow, i ended up going since i needed to do something that can
only be done at the campus.

Pretty glad to see all the peoples.

Hot as usual. I wonder when can we have our very own CO room with air-con
and a cleaner environment.

Went to Shunka with course mates after the practice
and get a free eggy meal from CO members working there.

Benefits of joining CO
and having friends working at the restaurant

Still then, signing off for tomorrow today 9am phytochemistry class.

From university to high school

It's been really chilly today!
How i wish Kampar weather could remains like this throughout the year.
Then i'll be very semangat cycling to campus.

I went to UTAR 10th Anniversary Fest this morning
after being persuaded by Yee Hing.

Yee Hing: 'Come lar~~come lar~~'
Me: 'If rain you help me wash all my clothes then i'll come.'
Yee Hing: 'Won't rain gua'
Me: 'Nah~you said won't rain one ar. If rain you wash all the clothes ar~~
I'm coming over now.'

Met my ex-roommate, Llyen who is so much prettier than before with her short hair.

There isn't much stall selling anything special than what you can get at the pasar malam.
So, i ended up buying a set of nasi lemak with orange syrup drink for Rm5,
1 BBQ flavor pao, and 1 black pepper pao for Rm4.

I just want to finish the Rm10 voucher asap and fill up my hunger.

I later discovered that
this must have been the worst lunch i ever have had in my entire life.
The nasi lemak is super wak tak and the pao which looked promising ended up
to be a taste of another nightmare.

Luckily, we conquered an air-con room to enjoy the lunch or else i'll go insane
with the foods already.
I wonder where they acquired the courage to run a business by selling you this shit 'piece of art'.

The Wushu Club Tai Chi Performers.

By night, i went to the Pei Yuan High School for their Chinese orchestra concert.
Spent another Rm10 for the ticket which i seriously think is a bit over-priced.
I'll give them 3 out of 5 stars for the performance.
Over all is so-so only but there's always room for improvement.

Seriously, their heritage hall is even larger than ours. Such a shame for UTAR.
We don't even have a proper stage.

Their conductor is even younger than me.

The only 4 representative from UTAR.

Enjoy, Procrastinate and Lata Kinjang waterfall

It look like February is going to end soon
and yet i still haven't completed my thesis.

been delaying and delaying
works pilling up
exam coming soon

and this is the time i start wondering why
i've chosen university after two years working as a guli.

The guli life would have been so much more relax~~Mentally of course.
Ah~~ how i missed it.
I wanna be back to the time
i was working as a guli in the shopping complex!!

Only have to deal with customers,
need not face the laptop every night,
brainstorming for ideas,
memorizing endless tongue-twisting chemical terms
and rushing for report/ thesis.

*Sob~ i wanna be a guli.

Well, at least, i'm still qualify for the RM200 book vouchers.
Now, peoples my age. Jealous me not?

Anyhow, i felt pretty sorry for my blog's followers.
I didn't update as frequently as i used to now.
This space used to be an active site which i updated daily or at least once in two days.
but now~~

Since university life is gonna end soon, i'll be blogging more on how most of my campus encounters go then.

So, i'll begin with this scary creatures that seem to be getting used to human existence at my campus.
I was in the middle of a serious chat with Michelle at the cafeteria when suddenly
the guys at next table called out to us and warned us about this freaking creature
crawling underneath our table.

I was too shocked that i forgot to take a photo of it.
The komodo was eating those left-over foods on the floor
and it doesn't even bother to lift up it head to look at the screaming girls.

The wild should be the one that's trying to escape right?
I felt so threatened by this komodo when it doesn't even bother about my existence.
Well, to be exact. I think i should correct 'this' komodo to 'UTAR's' komodo.
Been seeing this creature crawling freely around the campus
and you probably have already noticed that there are more and more holes
underneath some of the buildings.

I wonder when one of the blocks are gonna give way and sink in.
I better start feeding the wild komodo from now on.
All the Utarians will be grateful for the good deed i've done for them
when classes and exams were all cancel.

Anyway, talk about wild creatures. I found this colony of Brooke's butterflies on a visit
to Lata Kinjang waterfall recently. Much bigger and healthier than those i saw in Cameron's highland
Butterfly Park.

Heard that this is one of the tallest waterfall in Malaysia.

Well, if you are living nearby like me and got now where else to visit.
This may be the right place to drop by and say hi.
It look like this place will soon be charging enter fee from visitor since
construction work are going on now and it seem like they are fencing the place.

So, pay this place a visit while it is still F.O.C.
It took me 20 minutes drive from Kampar to reach here and less than 20 minutes back.

Still then, bye~~

Is February!!!

Life's been a blast.

I wish time could be frozen
and remain just the way i am now.
(Minus the FYP thesis and it'll be PERFECT!)

I've been busy lately with my thesis writing
and never did i ever expect so much complication
on the data tabulating part.
I just hope that what i've been doing so far is right.

October is the soon-to-be graduation month.
By May, i should have complete my degree
and is off to embark on a new journey.
Although i still have no idea how it's going to be like now
but one thing is for sure.

No more study in the next few years!
I'm tired of studying.

There's a performance this coming Saturday
and while practicing i saw my acdemic advisor walking back home alone.
He's a geneticist.
A man who dedicated his entire lifetime to science.
Never marry.
Some times I do wonder how life was like for a people like him.

Anyway, here's a great piano piece for you guys!
 'Just the way you are'

~Enjoy the music~
