Family business

A few years back, through a blogger
I've started following this cool blog on Japan's Culture by Danny Choo.

But
Never did i know that,
this guy was

 Jimmy Choo's son.

WuWuWu~~

It was only until recently, i've read an article
published in the newspaper about this guy

(Dunno the name in English. Haha.)

And only then, i knew.
=___=

So, this got me thinking.

For them,

Father = Shoe Designer for the late Princess Diana.
Son = Famous Blogger on Japan's Culture.

as for me,

Father = Electrician.
Daughter = Future biotechnologist. *aisek

Hoho. So, how bout you?
Are you following your father footstep?
or are you following your own path?

Which ever it is, always remember where you are now
are because of your own decisions. Always be glad and make life interesting.

Black Santa on Christmas Day

Just when i thought i finally have a day off for fun,
some thing happened and it really stirred the whole fun idea
into a total nightmare.

I met a black Santa on Christmas this year,
and i wish i've never had met him.

Whoever you are, i hope one day you'll pay for your crime.
Lesson learnt here, never park your car nearby any pub or club area.

Beware that,
Malaysia's thefts have no holiday.

Christmas wish this year.

I wish the car cartridge's thief will get run over by a car with fully charged battery power.
Fingers crossed.

Sit back. Relax, and enjoy the journey~~~

I was reading a book by Tony Parson today
when i came across this line

Success always looks like it has come quickly,
no matter how hard the rock it is carved from.

It was only a short sentence yet the meaning reflect just about
anyone of us who are wondering why their lives have feel so meaningless.

Peoples compare. And when people compared, that's when they start thinking
'Why is my life so meaningless?'
'I'm better than XXXX but why can't I be successful like him/her?'

Some may goes

'This is so unfair! We begin from the same point? He/She is doing what i'm doing and i've did better than he/she? But why it is so? He/she must be lucky."

So there goes

Peoples always need a reason to blame on and
when they couldn't, they'll blame it on luck.

Peoples forget.

Success doesn't come in a day or two
and it doesn't come just by a snap of fingers.

He/She may seem easy to be successful but let's not forget
the dedication, times and hard works they had gave in order to made things work for them.

So, if you are wondering why is your life so meaningless now,
let's just say it was only the beginning and just give yourself all the times
you'll need to be on the right path to success.

Sit back. Relax, and enjoy the journey~~~

The perfect job

A few years back, i thought about life after graduation and never did i ever imagine one like now.
I have thought about starting my own business.
I have thought about travelling as a job.
I have thought about lab works.
I have thought about grabbing my luggage and move to the other site of the world.
Which i used to think is kinda cool and definitely a must-try experience~
In fact, i'm still waiting for the best time.

Yet now, after graduation i had already changed 4 jobs and none of them
 were the above mentioned. Haha.....

I cherished the experiences and knowledges i've gained from all these jobs.
The peoples i have met, some were the mentors, some were the bullies,
while some were the finger-pointers.
Regardless of who they are, i accept what they have to offer because i know this world
was only made possible by all peoples. There was never a perfect person hence there was
always space for improvement. Just like there's no such thing as a perfect job but there's
always room for you to make things better.

Is time to start blending my own flavour of life and not buying the flavour i thought i want
which never turn out to be the one i want. Whose know the surprise i will taste?

Bring it own~ YO~!

Graduation!!!

Okay! So on the day of my graduation,
i drove all the way from Ipoh to Kampar
Alone~and without any accident~!

Wu~~Bravo~ Bravo~!
Kind of a huge achievement for me~
This should be the highlight of the day of my graduation given
the fact that my mum wouldn't even allow me to drive her auto car
alone back in my home town.
You guys were so wrong about my driving skill okay~!

Just that i got lost on my way back and boyfriend ended up searching high and low Ipoh for the poor me.

Anyway, this post is kind of late~~
OvertimeSSSSSSSSSssssssss and late night job have taken all the times away from me~
Yet, i still have a lot of gratitude message for my friends in which
i couldn't stand a chance to tell them on that day itself. Anyway, is not too late to say it here.

I though about skipping this graduation ceremony at first,
given all the troubles and cash needed to be spend on it
but i'm just glad i've made the choice to attend it.

Meeting and seeing you guys once again really touched the bottom of my heart.
Ever since foundation, we built fond memories together and you guys truly have
given me all the support that i needed throughout this journey.

To Michelle and families~~
First of all, i owned your parents a big meal!!
They have been so kind and generous with me.
I have taken and learnt a lot from them.
I do wish them always in good health and happy always!
Thank you Aunty for the lovely sunflowers~ That bear does look like me~!

Michelle, i want you to know that you have been a really great friend!
Great friend that i believe in which a person would have taken a life time to seek and may not even met
and i'm just glad that i didn't needs a life time to have met you.
I believe in fate.
You are the first person i've met during our first orientation and
you are the first person i've met on our graduation day.
Fate brought us together. Why am i using this old fashion line here?
We have overcame all the tortures and hectic days this journey had brought us.
I'm just so glad that we've made it together from the starting point to the end point.

I couldn't imagine how my university life would have been like without you.
You were always by my side ever since my campus life begun.
Now that we are graduated, i know that the chances to met may not be that often anymore
and the fact that i'm a FFK Queen~~ ahahahaha
but hell yeah! I'll be back to haunt you whenever you missed the wicked laugh~
Hohohohohoho~

To TE4 rians~
You guys know who you are.

Henry, back in foundation, if it wasn't for you, i'll have nowhere to place all my stuffs on
the night the sohai LKP went nuts. Having you under the same roof as me is a bless too!
I appreciates all the free foods and soups you and Xiao Cui made for me. Not forgetting all
the laboratory reports you helped me on. Thank you for every things.

Rainnie, you came to me as a very good brother.
Throughout my university life, there's never a dull moment with you around.
Thank you for all the funs and laughters.
Thank you for always being a supportive friend.
Thanks for borrowing me your laptop when mine was down.
Thanks for the birthday cake you brought me.
Thanks for helping me catching scary bugs.
Thanks for taking in my clothing when it's raining.
There's just too much to mentioned~~

Bond, i know you wouldn't be reading this
but i still want to thank you for fetching me whenever i asked for your help.
I missed your deep monotone voice~ haha

Sau Ting, you were the first person i met in UTAR.
Always there to remind me of the details i may have missed out.
Thank you for letting me staying over at your house when you knew that
i wanted to visit Batu Caves. That trip wouldn't have been possible without you.
I remember the night i had an accident with Scott.
Thank you for being so organized that when things get messy
we still have a guidance that show us what to do.
You are the sun that keep all planet in orbit.

This post is getting a big long now and yet i still have a lot of message to so many friends.

To Ah Jing,
I still have a lot of thing to say to you but right now
i could only say thank you!!! I love the katak you gave me!!!

To Yee Hing,
Enjoy your Taiwan Trip, wait ya back and i'll goes down to play puzzle with you.
Lol~~ Thank you for every things!

To CO friends!

Thank you guys for the flower! Love it!
CO has definitely painted more colour to my university life!
Greats to have met you guy!

To Spiky, Marcus, Yan Qian
You three idiots couldn't be there in person but i know you guys were happy for us.
Let's meet up one day for a big meal!

To Jestrine,
Need not say much. I'm waiting for the day we goes shopping together again!!!
Ngek~ ngek~

Finally no more bills to cut hole in my pocket! and annoying forms to fill~!
I'm glad that i got rid of you!!!

Namewee at Miri

A few years back, this guy posted a video at Youtube.com,
singing the national anthem in his own style,
causing a catastrophe and the next thing we know
'A new star was discovered.'

I bet every Malaysian knew of his name.

Coincidentally, Namewee was here in Miri during Merdeka Day to promote his latest movie.
'Hantu Gangster'

My sister was the one insisted of going to the event and
after much  pleading persuasions, the next thing i know,
i'm stuffed into the car along with WeeSiong while my sister happily
drove her captives to the slaughter ground.

The event was held at Permy Mall which took about 5 minutes drive from my house.
To be frank, we all thought no one will be there but turned out
it still took us some times to locate a parking space outside the mall.
So, we reached just on time to witness him going on stage.

Okay, so after some introductions about the movie they finally asked for 8 audiences to join them
on stage for a game. Winner will be rewarded with gift.
Upon hearing of the word 'GIFT'
my eyes lit up and then

Hey peeps!!!!

I'm waving to the audiences with Amber Chia eerie face behind my back.
Yep. I'm one of the eight.
*Oh~someone waving back at me~ Hohohohoho/ perasan betul ni

Deep in thought. 'I shouldn't have wore this big lolipop tee~!'

She's telling us the rules of the game and only then i realized
ZZZZZzzzzzzZZZzzzzzz

'Exclaim the phrase 'Hantu Gangster Kuih Kochi' in your very own unique way'
That's how the game was played.

Okay. So, I thought I'll do the Gangnan Style Dance while saying the phrase out
but i cut the idea off after imagining how i'll look like.
In the end, i do some ghost scream and reached out for the audiences to shout for me instead.

Receiving my free gift from Namewee
A group photos

After the game session, there's goes the poster-throwing session
and then the autograph session.
I left after the poster-throwing session.

The reward from Namewee.
Gave it to WeeSiong since there're neither TGV nor  GSC here in Miri.

Not a bad trip after all.
Lol~

Istana Nurul Iman. Hari Raya at Brunei Darussalam~~!

When is the best time to visit Brunei?

Definitely will be during Hari Raya Aidilfitri~!!!

Why?

The Royal Palace is open to public during this festive season!!!
You'll stand a chance to meet the royals and also gaining an insight of the palace.

What's more?

Free flow of foods and beverages.
++ Free gifts.

 Cool huh~!?

I've made a trip to the palace on the second day of Raya this year.
Despite millions were there, it only took three hours for the whole progress from
eating, scanning, waiting, greeting and receiving free gifts. *Given that you are a lady.
For guys, it probably took more than this as the average percentage for male visitor was higher.
The time could have been shorten if i didn't spent that much times on eating. XD
I believe i've spent 1 hour time on foods. Hahahahaha~~~*Hungry ghost

Try to be an early bird if you want to avoid the heat during noon times.
For my case, i reached there at 9am. My cousin drove me there so
I don't have to spent times searching for carpark. Is a bliss that they have buses
waiting right beside the main gate area to shift visitors to the entrance. I noticed that
some visitors are already making theirs way back by this time. I wonder what time they got up.

Brunei map logo on the main gate of the royal palace.

Buses were provided for visitors!

Once i got to the entrance, i was stunted!!! Is a whole lot different from the main gate area.
Peoples were rushing, pushing, squeezing not forgetting sweating here.
Now came the part i hated the most, a Bangla man behind me just wouldn't stop pushing
and trying to squeeze pass me although a kid was right beside and
I was right in front while we were standing at the staircase.
He definitely deserved a stomp on the feet from me. Muahahahahahah~~~ *evil laugh.
Luckily, it didn't took much times before i managed my grand entrance to the palace.
Finally reached the point where male and female were separated out. Fresh air at last~!

Officers serving the royal waiting to enter the palace.

The crowds at the main entrance!

Before waiting "in line" to get the plate, one must goes through the security check up
(similar to the airport security check up) and body temperature measurement
before they declared you 'clear to enter' by sticking this on you.

After that came another looooong wait to get the plate. Due to the fact that i have to secure myself
from crashing the royal plate, i gave up taking photos of the foods served.
Anyway, some of the foods served included curry, rice, italian pasta, fish, cocktail sausage,
chicken, beef rendang, goat and etc.
It tasted so good especially the cocktail sausage!!! Love it !!!
After the main dish, you get to roamed around the dinning area for pudding,
kuih-muih, cookies and also beverages.
Is all free and you get to refill as much as you want~!!!
I see Head~~~and more Heads

Collected my plate from this beautiful lady here.

The hungry ghost with her pudding and cookies.

After the big feast, is time to be seated and wait for your turn to give 'salam' to Her Majesty the Queen
and princesses. Also, because i'm considered an early bird it only took a few minutes wait and soon the
policewoman gestured for us to enter the next waiting hall. The second waiting hall was huge and
sparkling was the first word that came into my mind. Beautiful architecture~!

Me, Sis and Mum

The first waiting hall

The second waiting hall.

A mother with her kids were seated in front of me and the kids were just sooooo cute that i couldn't help it
and secretly snatched a few photos of them. You probably have noticed that they were wearing the same
designed. Is a tradition the Bruneians practices, usually the whole family members will wear the same design
during Raya. Lost and found were easier in this case. I'm just kidding.
This is a practice that i found genuinely beautiful and sweet in Brunei.

Yes. They posed for my camera.

The cute test!!

It is almost 12pm when i'm waiting at the second hall and the policewoman was gesturing at the watch among
each others. This must be the signal for a break. Luckily, they let my line through before they stopped the
rest. So, this was the last "waiting in line progress" before entering a grand hall to give salam to Her Majesty
the Queen, princesses and royal members. For guys, they'll be greeting the male line of the royal members.
After this, you'll get your free gift which was the small yellow box i'm holding in the photo below.

The last wait

Me and sis with our free gifts. Cookies inside.

Finally, i've reached the end of this post and i'm really lazy now. So, i'll let the pictures do the talking.
^_____^

Hope you'll found my information useful for your trip to the palace next year~!

Men in black.

We've choosen to walk down instead of taking the bus for the sake of taking photos.

Kena a police halao after taking this photo.

The police was blowing whistle at me halfway through taking this photo.
So, lesson learnt here. You are not allow to disturb the guard on duty~!
I'll definitely make another trip there for years to come if given the chance.

Last but not least.
Choose an appropriate outfit if you are planning to visit the palace.
Personally, i felt that it is very impolite to wear jeans, slippers, sandals, short, pant, mini skirt,
or t-shirt to the palace although i did saw some visitors wearing jeans, slippers and sandals.
Dress code is important as it show your respect to the culture.
What more the person you are greeting is Her Royal Highness?

Selamat Hari Raya

Crashed into my brother and sister badminton spree yesterday
and now i can't move a single muscle. Felt like tofu.

=___=

Dad asked me to go Mukah with him but i decided to go Brunei with mum.
Wuahahahahaha~~!

Is Raya~!!!
Which means that the Royal Palace of His Majesty will be open for public visit~!
Woohooo~~

I was still a kid when i last visited the palace,
definitely not going to miss out this chance  now.

Anyway, here's my current addict to end this post~!

In search of a new identity

I have a bad feeling that my laptop is going to kaboom sooner or later.
In order to prevent this from happening,
i hereby declare to shut myself off from the internet world until
the poor thing have all the rest it needed.

Anyway, it'd been months since i'm released from the big prison in Kampar.
Most of my course mates have got themselves a new identity.
Hoho...congrats to all of you~

and now the million dollar question~

What's bout me?

Well, let's just said that i'm still at the progress of seeking myself a new identity
and i have a feeling that it's going to take a looooooooonnnnnggg time.

Hmmp....

Nevermind~
Currently, i just need lotsa of rest ~
Just like my lappy~

Wuahahahahahaha~~~

Now. Introducing my new recipe~

Mashed potato in butter cheese + milk~!!!
Wuahahahahahahaha~~!!

Who dare to try?

Spiky!

Spiky.

"Rolling in the deep"

“很喜欢encore的rolling in the deep,没有想过华乐也能演奏”
“那位女鼓手,很有气魄!眼神很凶。”
“我坐后面,看不到前面,很可惜。”
“椅子很丑咯~~因该用我们坐着的吗~~!”

演奏会结束后,有些观众还依依不舍的看着舞台正在发生的一切
我想你们这几个月的付出都是值得的。
说真的,新手们,我以前辈的身份,想说
report, assignment,exam, presentation
