I'm Back~~~

Alright, so finally everything was back on track. Ever since i'd been shorlisted for the cadet assestment my mind and soul were never at rest. Every night before i close my eyes my mind would wandered off on its own thinking about how the assestment is going to be. Will there be an interview on the first day? Should i prepared for the test first or focus more on the interview? If i started with this and turn out they goes with this first, then how am i going to cope with it? Will they ask about this question or that? What should i wear? and so on....

I'm restless for this few months and finally i'm done with the first stage. Now i better start focusing more on my studies cause the exam is coming up soon. Haha, got a bad feeling that i might flunck every single subject. But there's no way i'll flunk my test. Is never gonna to happened. Hahahaha....

Will be updating soon.

I'm just as eager as you guys but why WHY WHY???? ~~~~>.<~~~~

T_T i also want to go in.....T_T

Micheal Jackson was death!!!!

Oh my gosh...cant believe he is really death.....

News adapted from MSN
Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County, confirmed his office had been notified of the death and would handle the investigation.

The circumstances of Jackson’s death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to the hospital, Ruda told the newspaper.

Jackson’s death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music’s premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album “Thriller” — which included the blockbuster hits “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” — is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

The public first knew him in the late 1960s, when as a boy he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the music group he formed with his four older brothers. Among their No. 1 hits were “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.”

Ranked with Elvis, Beatles
He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched voice punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks second only to his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.

“For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don’t have the words,” said Quincy Jones, who produced “Thriller.” “He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I’ve lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him.”

Jackson ranked alongside Elvis Presley and the Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time. He united two of music’s biggest names when he was briefly married to Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie, and Jackson’s death immediately evoked that of Presley himself, who died at age 42 in 1977.

As years went by, Jackson became an increasingly freakish figure — a middle-aged man-child weirdly out of touch with grown-up life. His skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. He surrounded himself with children at his Neverland Ranch, often wore a germ mask while traveling and kept a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles as one of his closest companions.

“It seemed to me that his internal essence was at war with the norms of the world. It’s as if he was trying to defy gravity,” said Michael Levine, a Hollywood publicist who represented Jackson in the early 1990s. He called Jackson a “disciple of P.T. Barnum” and said the star appeared fragile at the time but was “much more cunning and shrewd about the industry than anyone knew.”

Jackson caused a furor in 2002 when he playfully dangled his infant son, Prince Michael II, over a hotel balcony in Berlin while a throng of fans watched from below.

In 2005, he was cleared of charges he molested a 13-year-old cancer survivor at Neverland in 2003. He had been accused of plying the boy with alcohol and groping him, and of engaging in strange and inappropriate behavior with other children.

The case followed years of rumors about Jackson and young boys. In a TV documentary, he had acknowledged sharing his bed with children, a practice he described as sweet and not at all sexual.

Despite the acquittal, the lurid allegations that came out in court took a fearsome toll on his career and image, and he fell into serious financial trouble.

Comeback had been planned
Jackson was preparing for what was to be his greatest comeback: He was scheduled for an unprecedented 50 shows at a London arena, with the first set for July 13. He was in rehearsals in Los Angeles for the concert, an extravaganza that was to capture the classic Jackson magic: showstopping dance moves, elaborate staging and throbbing dance beats.

Singer Dionne Warwick said: “Michael was a friend and undoubtedly one of the world’s greatest entertainers that I fortunately had the pleasure of working with. ... We have lost an icon in our industry.”

Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital as word of his death spread. The emergency entrance at the UCLA Medical Center, which is near Jackson’s rented home, was roped off with police tape.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Michael Jackson has just died,” a woman boarding a Manhattan bus called out shortly after the news was announced. Immediately many riders reached for their cell phones.

So many people wanted to verify the early reports of Jackson’s death that the computers running Google’s news section interpreted the fusillade of “Michael Jackson” requests as an automated attack for about half an hour Thursday evening.

In New York’s Times Square, a low groan went up in the crowd when a screen flashed that Jackson had died, and people began relaying the news to friends by cell phone.

“No joke. King of Pop is no more. Wow,” Michael Harris, 36, of New York City, read from a text message a friend sent to his telephone. “It’s like when Kennedy was assassinated. I will always remember being in Times Square when Michael Jackson died.”

5 December 2008

IPOH, Dec 5 (Bernama) -- The Perak government will send an official request to the Transport Ministry for the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport to be reopened as promised by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

State Education, Local Government, Housing and Public Transport Committee chairman Nga Kor Ming said many investors intending to invest in Perak changed their minds and went to other places after realising that the airport was closed.

"We want the federal government to fulfill the promise made by the prime minister and to give (us) the promised RM170 million allocation for re-development of the airport and widening of its landing strip," he added.

He told reporters at a press conference today that the prime minister made the promise at a dinner held in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce at the Indera Mulia Stadium last year.

Nga said failure to make LTSAS into a fully-operational airport was impeding progress of the state economy and turning the facility, built at a cost of RM54 million, into a white elephant.

He also said that the state government was disappointed with a statement by Transport Minister Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat who said that the ministry was planning to build an airport in Negeri Sembilan.

"How can an airport be built in a state which is very near to the Low Cost Carrier Terminal and the KL International Airport when Perak is really in need of the facility," he added.

He said if the federal government could not reopen the airport, it should then hand over the management of LTSAS to the Perak government.

"We will find the airline companies to land here...we want to have a direct flight to Singapore to link us with other countries,"
he added.

Currently, only an airline company which offers flight service between Ipoh and Medan in Indonesia operates at LTSAS.

IPOH: Firefly, which billed itself as “your community airline”, will take off from Ipoh to Singapore route starting July 12.

The all-inclusive promotional fare is RM88 one way, going up to RM300 depending on the time of booking.

FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd managing director Eddy Leong said the route would “open up Ipoh to the world.”

The one-hour-and-20 minute flight will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays It departs here at 4.45pm, arriving at the Changi budget terminal at 6.05pm.

From Singapore, the new 72-seater aircraft takes off at 2.50pm and lands at the Sultan Azlan Shah airport here at 4.10pm.

”We have been in discussion with the Perak government since 2007 to provide accessibility to exploit the untapped and hidden treasures of Perak,” Leong said after a briefing with the state, tour agents and hotel operators at the state secretariat here Monday.

He said Firefly would provide free refreshments and snacks, assigned seats and free 20kg baggage allowance for check-in baggage.

To a question, Leong said Singapore was the only destination from Ipoh for now, but added that one possibility was an Ipoh to KLIA route in the future.
The RM88 promotion is available for booking ( or call 03-7845 4543) from now until Oct 24.

Other Singapore destinations that Firefly would be flying are Subang (July 1), Kuala Terengganu (July 14), Kuantan (July 22) and Malacca (Sept 1).

Telaga Air Hangat

A friend of mine asked me, "Hey!!! Did you went to Telaga Air Hangat in Langkawi?? I heard that if you put an egg inside the pool, apparently it will become hard-boiled egg few minutes later."

Ahem...ahem....(cleared my throat)

"I guess if you does put an egg into the pool, you'll get nothing but a Rm100 fine."

I did went to Telaga Air Hangat but turn out the place is still undergoing construction.

Looking left.....

Looking right....

Looking front.....

And this is all its got~~~A big well.

I dared not look into the well because it was quite deep and you can see i'm clinging on the small rock to advoid myself from falling. Seriously, they should have make something for us to cling on and not small rock like that.

Heard that the water from the well is very effective of curing diseases which caused skin problems. Dunno is true or not but judging from the pureness of the water(which haf lotsa algaes), i think it can cause you more skin problem rather then curing one.
Anyway, i'm outta this place in not less than 3 minutes and i dont think i'll ever lay my foot here again.

Dissapointing Black Sand Beach of Langkawi

Black sand beach, one of the famous beaches in Langkawi. You must have heard of it from someone or read about it somewhere so i'm just going to highlights a brief intro here.
  1. The beach has black sands.
  2. The beach was beautiful and sparkling.
  3. Ghosts were seen here. ( A fact by Gyee, story included in this post.)
Why is the beach black?

According to the legend, the black sand was the result of the fierce battle that took place betwen Garuda and Jentayu. Take note here. Garuda and Jentayu is not the name of warriors but the name of birds.

Apparently, these two Birdie are probably fighting over some god-know-what reasons which eventually kaboom the beach and turned it into black. I assumed these two birdie here must be an extraordinary birds in which they are somehow magical. Sure know magic one mar.....or else how they turned the beach black???

Another legend said that, this beach was actually cursed by a mermaid in revenge on a fisherman who didn't kept his promise to her. The mermaid got angry for over god-know-what broken promise and cast a magic spell on the the beach and turned it into black.

Obviously, the cephalization progress doesn't went so well for that mermaid. Why still bother to curse the beach when you can just curse the man? God-know-why.

The other legend said that, the black color of the beach is actually a remains of the burnt ashes washed down from the burnt paddy field to the beach. Do you think i'm going to buy this? Get a map of Langkawi and seek out the location of 'The burnt paddy field' and compare it with the location of the beach. You'll get my point.

After reading about all these tales, i've decided to pay this beach a visit, not that i'm fascinated by the tales and was anxious to find out the remains of burnt paddy ashes but to answer the only question that was posted in my mind (yours too).

Does this beach really live up to the hype?
(Peoples been telling me how beautiful and extraordinary it was)

So, on my 3rd days in Langkawi, i'd set up my gears, rent a car and hit the road. It was not hard to locate the beach as there's only one road leading there. After sitting in car(i'm not the one who drive) for more than 25mins, i'm finally there. It was raining heavily the moment i reached there, so i just sat inside the car, studied the map while i waited for the rains to stop. A sign of welcoming.......right? Haha....

After a while, i got bored of reading map and decided to check out the construction site nearby. At here, i got a good glimpse of the beach and the truth was finally unveiled!!!!

Tada!!!! Proudly present to you the beautiful and 'extra-ordinary' beach!!!!!!

The beach was not completely black but is more like a mixture of black sand and normal sand. Not a single soul on the beach. I only saw two ghosts wandering around the construction site. After the rain stopped, i went down to the beach, chased some little crabs, dug up the sands and hey! only the surface was black.....zzzZzzzzz

I got bored with the beach in less than 3 minutes times and decided to leave. There's nothing to see here. So, we drove a few km down the initial designated tourist area and spotted some stalls selling foods. We decided to fill up our stomachs here and look what we've found, a nicer part of black sand beach! At least the black sands over here have a wider coverage.

Spotted the jetty behind me? Some sources claim it to be an 'ancient' jetty but it doesn't look ancient to me maybe if you have the times, might as well take a walk down the beach to the jetty and see whether it was hold up with nails, then you'll get the true.

Some samples Yi Xin collected back......i'm not sure what she's going to do with that but let's just pray that nothing bad is going to happen. Well....the sands was cursed.....remember?

I'm just too boring....

C'mone...let go to Pantai Cenang.....1!!

First thing that came into view.....islanders playing sepak takraw by the beachside...*_* Malaysia we haf sepak takraw instead of volleyball...

Spotted one SiaoZhaBo whom probably had 1000++voltage charging through her body.

Hahahahahaha....what's so funny huh??

A few things you might want to try out at Pantai Cenang....

Activity 1: Parasailing

Price ranging from Rm80-Rm120...This is when your mum "cut price" skill came into practice.....Cheapest you can get is aroung Rm72....hehe ^_^v

Do remember to get your ass out of the boundaries where they land those parachuter. Having a stranger landing on your head or your back is definately not cool at all....

Activity 2: Cover yourself from head to toes all in black and walk along the beachside with your lover.

A nice way to avoid from getting burn under the hot sun but still able to feel the heat from the inside. Black color absorb heat man!!! Anyway, do remember to bring along the umbrella. You'll find it handy when you need to shove off unwanted intruder despite all the attention you get.

And dun forget to sway your butt when you walk~~~~
Left left right~~~
Right Left Right~~~~

Activity 3: Rent a tree house and watch the beautiful sunset.

Available only for those who stayed in the resort. Open for public at cost of Rm100++. Price negotiable.

Sunset you get on the beachside...

Sunset you get on the treehouse...

What do you expect??? Go find out yourself~~~~

Activity 4: Visit Mak Rempit seaside bar.

It is nicely decorated and do try out the coconut drinks. Mak Rempit will be performing for you while you enjoys your foods and drinks.

Activity 5: Join the kid and build them a fairy tale castle.

Kid:"Can you "make" a castle for me???"
SiaoZhaBo:"No, i cant but i can "make" you 3."

Activity 6: Ride on a banana.

Price ranging from RM15-50. Depend on how many peoples going for the ride. 2person=Rm50, 4person=Rm15each....So, be smart! Make some new friends on the beach and get them to join you for the ride.

Banana boat collapsing behind =_=||| Smart tip here, bring along some dry clothes too.

Activity 7: Sunbathing after sunset.

To advoid suntanned maybe....

Activity 8: Find out the fact on who weight heavier.

Alamak!!! Cant believe i'd sink one inch depth!!!!

Activity 9: Close your eyes and feel the sea breeze.

The wind is quite strong so do wait under the coconut trees. If you are lucky, you may bring back some coconuts for free. If you are superd lucky, you'll be on your way to get your head sew by a doctor. Bang!!! And that hurt!!!

This is so doesn't seem to be enjoying the sea breeze....

Activity 10: Become a pharachutist and jumps out of the aircraft.

This is so not true.....

Alert!!! Alert!!! Bank angle!!! Bank angle!!!

This is so not true also.......

Last but not least...pose like an idiot....

Get exhausted and left the beach with good memory you'll wont forget.

Screw it!!! Missed the bus again~~~

Nah...i'm trying my best to adapt to UTAR bus schedule but i'm still missing out buses evey day. Hey! Just what the heck is wrong now huh???

So, class skipped today is Professional Writing....alright...screwed it!!!!

Anyway, nowaday my body is just not functioning in the way it should be. When i want to study, my eyelid went shut. When i want to sleep, my eyes open wide. When it's time to eat, i haf no appetite. When i finally haf the appetite, there is no more food. And recently, my eyes seem to be playing tricks with me. Words on lecturer slide bacame small sparkling star. I see black dots....guess i'm having tunnel vision....

I guess i'm overload and just needed some rest.

Transformer is not that bad lah~~~~

Transformer~~~!!! Whenever someone mentioned this word, it'll remind me of my 6 years old brother fighting over the TV with my sister just to watch the animated version of Transformer. I still remember the series was aired before by a local TV station.

That's when i first know of Transformer......something robotic and machinery....My brother was a big fan for Transformer but its' definately not my cup of tea and i just dont see any reason to kick up a fuss for it. So, whenever my siblings started fighting over the TV.....I'll just snatch the remote-control from them and switch to the channel my sister want and i'll tell my brother "Transformer is bad for know?". Well, this sent my brother crying and complaining to my mum. Tired of the same thing, my mum introduced a new rule. "This week your turn and next week her turn." but the rule never worked the way my mum thought it would be simply because my brother never can get enough of transformer....

In year 2007, i came across the MTV of this song "Before it's too late" by the Goo Goo Dolls and from that MV i picked up a little insight of the movie "Transformer". All the dramatic actions, explosion, building crashing and not forgetting the "smooching" at the end of the music video grab hold of my interest immediately. After watching the music video, i realized that "Transformer is not that bad lah~~~". I watched the trailer at youtube and found it quite interesting but still....i never watch the movie....hahaha.....

And a few day back, my friends were talking about the upcoming movie "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen". This remind me again of the super big fan in my house.

And~~~~Viola~~!!!!...Cant believe Nuffnang is actually giving out ticket to the premier...It will be cool to win a pair of exclusive tickets to watch the Premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with that superd fan of Transformer....^_^V hey bro....I'm a good sister actually....and Transformer is not that bad lah~~~
